2. Thiksey Monastery

Thiksey Monastery, a grand and sprawling complex in Ladakh, is a remarkable architectural wonder that spans 12 levels and has stood for over 600 years. This Leh Ladakh monastery is a sight to behold and comprises ten temples and chapels, where approximately 100 monks reside.
