Its construction activity is credited to the devout Deubai Patil a childless woman who received a divine dream where lord Ganesha appeared as a child himself and asked her to erect the temple. The efforts started immediately and materialized on November 19th, 1801.

A temple forms an abode of the iconic black stone idol of Siddhi Vinayak, characterized by the right trunk tilt with symbolic items held in his four hands. With the elements of sanctity and prosperity, Ganesha is joined by goddesses Siddhi and Riddhi along with the third eye on Ganesha’s face reminiscent of his father Lord Shiva. Siddhivinayak Temple Architecture

Shri Siddhivinayak temple has a timeless architectural design. It has a spacious hall, a sacred sanctum and sanctorum, open grounds and the temple management office situated in the right corner of the temple. A sacred water tank is decorated at the front adding a special grandeur. As the years passed this temple underwent various renovation works and got added with modern elements.

The construction works are handled by famous architect Sharad Athale’s group. They considered every aspect like climate change, and tourist footfall and made necessary modifications. On the basis of the hot and humid climate, the temple is remodelled with the Shiva temple in Ambernath which is a solid stone elevation. 

It cost more than 3 crore rupees and 3 years of hard work to create the present-day architectural excellence of Siddhivinayak temple. As planned it is constructed in a multi-angular and six-story design that culminates in a sanctum over a majestic gold-plated dome, surrounded by smaller gold and panchaloha crowns.

This temple has also the hands of skilled artisans like Suresh and Mitesh who also contributed to the detailed craftsmanship. The interiors are thoughtfully designed to hold high devotee footfall, from management offices to the stock library.
